ABOUT ANGELA DERECAS TAYLOR
Angela Derecas Taylor writes about food and family dysfunction. A descendant of Greek and Italian immigrants, she was born and raised in a family restaurant business in 1960’s Greenwich Village. Angela has traveled extensively, working for more than twenty years in the food & beverage industry, until her volunteerism and advocacy led to a mid-life career change into her current role as the executive aide to the mayor in New Rochelle. She has been published in The Westchester Review, been a featured storyteller with 650: Where Writers Read, Pros(e) of Pie and The Creative Breath, and has taken the stage at The Moth story slams in NYC. Angela’s stories are…Sometimes Scary. Often Hilarious. Always Delicious.
